Gold Medal Winner in the 2009 terravino Competition. The grapes (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) were harvested from vineyards in Jerusalem Hills (including our own vineyards in Psagot, Israel). The grapes are brought immediately after harvest into the winery for a gentle crushing and destemming The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks starting off cool (60º F) and working up to an aggressive fermentation (93º F

Cabernet Franc
Winner of the Gold Medal in the 2009 Eshkol Hazahav Competition. Psagot’s Cabernet Franc is made with 100% Cabernet Franc grapes harvested from the Matta Vineyards nestled in the Judean Hills. This wine exudes a beautiful fruit profile which integrates nicely with the spiciness of the oak barrels (aged 12 months).
Winner of the silver Medal in the 2009 vinalies Competition and Bronze Medal Winner in the 2010 Eshkol Hazahav Competition Merlot Psagot was produced from Merlot grapes that grow in the vineyards of the mountains north of Jerusalem. The wine is aged for 14 months in French and American oak wood barrels and is exceptional in its fruitiness and ripe plum and cheery aromas.
Winner of the Gold Medal in the 2010 Eshkol Hazahav Competition Psagot Shiraz 2010 is produced from only Shiraz grapes. Vines grown on the winery's vineyards are planted in ancient limestone terraces in the mountains located North of Jerusalem, 900 meters (almost 3000 feet) above sea level.
Psagot Chardonnay
Psagot Chardonnay 2010 Produced from Chardonnay grapes which were harvested in vineyards of the hills of Jerusalem. The must fermented at low temperatures in new French oak barrels and aged in  yeast (Sur-lie) for 8 months.
Psagot Prat
Gold Winner in the 2006 Teravino Competition A fortified wine in Port style that is produced from a unique blend of a number of high-quality grapes. Following in the Port tradition of wine production, the fermentation process is arrested by adding alcohol thereby also preserving the grape’s natural sweetness.
